COBDEN, Ill. -- Archie L. Cast, 73, of Cobden died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born April 10, 1925, at Makanda, son of William and Ethel Priddy Cast. He and Geneva Rickett were married Nov. 2, 1966, in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Anna Heine of Pinckneyville; two sons, Ricky and Ronald Cast of Cobden; two sisters, Dorothy Taylor of Hurst, Opal Lowe of Indianapolis, Ind.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 9 a.m. Monday.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery in Makanda. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate.
