April Dawn Goad Murakami, 52, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at her home. She was born Jan. 23, 1972, in Chicago. On Oct. 29, 2010, she married Daniel R. Murakami, who survives. Other survivors are a son, Robert P. Murakami; daughter, Yaeme G. Murakami; mother, Carolyn (Denny) Hudson of St. Louis; and brothers, Danny and Duane Goad, both of St. Louis. ...

Other survivors are a son, Robert P. Murakami; daughter, Yaeme G. Murakami; mother, Carolyn (Denny) Hudson of St. Louis; and brothers, Danny and Duane Goad, both of St. Louis.

A memorial will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Shelter No. 20 in Cape County Park South. Service will begin at noon, officiated by Terry McKee. A lunch will follow.
