A.P. MAYBERRY

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Albert Frederick "A.P." Mayberry, 76, of Jonesboro died Sunday, June 24, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 12, 1925, at Jonesboro, son of William J. and Bertha Hinkle Mayberry. He and JoAnn Brazier Aaron were married April 10, 1977, at Jonesboro.

Mr. Mayberry was a carpenter by trade.

Survivors include his wife; his 101-year-old mother; a son, Wayne E. Mayberry of Jonesboro; five daughters, Jean Moore, Glenda Mayberry of Jonesboro, Linda Woods and Diane Hines of Anna, Ill., and Jerry Miles of Philadelphia, Miss.

Also surviving are three brothers, David "Richard" Mayberry, Floyd Mayberry of Jonesboro, Raymond Mayberry of Valdosta, Ga.; three sisters, Helen Keesee of Scott City, Mo., Geraldine McLane and Mildred Wright of Jonesboro; two stepsons, Ricky Aaron of Cape Girdeau, Danny Aaron of Carersville, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Roger Moore and Stephen Clardy officiating. Burial will be in Valley Mission Cemetery near Reynoldsville, Ill.
