Anthony "Tony" Siemer, 57, of Friedheim passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri.

Tony was born Nov. 25, 1964, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to the late John and Irmgard Schonlau Siemer. He and Joyce Zoellner were married May 17, 1986, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.

Tony graduated from Jackson High School in 1983. He worked for 35 years as a chief engineer for several barge lines, retiring from Ingram Barge Lines.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 12934.

Master of all things mechanical, Tony enjoyed working and showing his two boys how to fix things the "right" way. He was always one to stop and lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone, never thinking about repayment or returned favors. One of his great joys was being "Opa" to his Matt.
