SCOTT CITY -- Anthony Joseph Wilhelm, 80, of Scott City, died Tuesday, April 21, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born March 10, 1912, in Nazareth, Texas, son of Herman Joseph and Eva Joner Wilhelm. He and Alleen Anna Hoffman were married Sept. 26, 1936, at Illmo.
The Wilhelm's owned and operated Tony's Jewelry Store in Cape Girardeau 37 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Patricia Burton of Scott City; two sisters, Mary Weber of Benton, Martha Sowa of Greenfield, Wis., and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 3 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
