Annie Lovie Eldridge, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Oct. 19, 1910, in Stoddard County, daughter of Noah and Emma Ella (Christian) Russell.
Annie first married William "Bill" Griffin on March 18, 1927. Bill died in 1941. She later married Dave Eldridge on Nov. 23, 1963. Dave died in 1980.
Mrs. Eldridge was retired from Superior Electric. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Eldridge is survived by a stepdaughter, Nancy Spies of Cape Girardeau; six grandsons, Marshal Helderman and Jimmy Park of Cape Girardeau, Paul E. Griffin Jr. of Jackson, Michael Griffin of Perryville, and David and Richard Griffin of Arkansas; a granddaughter, Rose Marie Teffner of Fenton, Mich.; and a close friend, Rose Mary Enke.
Ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sisters, a brother, two children and a grandchild.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
