SIKESTON -- Annie Lorene Alley, 84, of Jonesboro, Ark., died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 26, 1910, at Clear Lake, Ark., daughter of Simon and Elizabeth Anderson Smotherman.
Alley had been a seamstress at Pitman Cleaners and Faultless Cleaners. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include Jerry Alley of Sikeston; three daughters, Shirley Wayland of Tulsa, Okla., Glenda Phillips of Huber Heights, Ohio, Sara Alley of Sikeston; two brothers, John Smotherman of Blytheville, Ark., Max Smotherman of Jonesboro; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Fred Houstein officiating.
