CHAFFEE, Mo. — Annie Lee Cobb, 87, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Delta to the late Otis and Bertha Kynion Smith. She married R.G. Cobb, and he preceded her in death Dec. 14, 2003.
Annie was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Rockview, Missouri. She was a member of Cape Girardeau quilting club.
Survivors include three sons, Harold (Mary) Cobb and Ricky (June) Cobb, both of Chaffee, and Jim Cobb of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Dixie (Dewaine) Shaffer of Chaffee, Betty (Darryl) Maschmann of Cape Girardeau, Darla Chapman of Chaffee and Sally (Danny) Hahn of Oran, Missouri; one sister, Myrtle Steimle of Chaffee; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Mike and Joe Bob Cobb; two granddaughters, Cathy Cobb and Amanda Shaffer; four sisters; and two brothers.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Jim Smiley officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gwenell Streeter. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
