Anneta Marie Meyer Schrock, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Dec. 7, 1911, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Henry George and Dena Oberbeck Meyer. She married Norman Schrock Feb. 19, 1936. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1976.
She and her husband farmed in the Gordonville, Mo., area all their married life. She was a lifetime member of Hanover Lutheran Church, and did volunteer work at The Lutheran Home.
She is survived by two daughters, Cordelia Peters and husband, Herman, and Carletta Bohnert, both of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Gary and John Peters, Christine Kosharek and Corey Bohnert; and three great-grandchildren.
A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hanover Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jeffrey Sippy will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
