Anna Dean Turnbough, 70, of Jackson passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at her home.
She was born Sept. 5, 1940, in St. Louis, daughter of Troy and Myrtle Wade Hobeck. She and Glen A.J. Turnbough were married June 20, 1958. He passed away Sept. 14, 2006.
Anna was a member of First Baptist Church of Millersville. She was a caregiver to the elderly in her home.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Tammy (David) Jones of Independence, Mo., Becky (Scott) Whitlock of Jackson; four grandchildren, Trisha (Rafe) Camp, Cody and Colt Strain, and Cory Ruch; two sisters, Jackie Roberts of Cape Girardeau, Deloris Norman of Florida; two brothers, Larry Hobeck of Sparta, Ill., Carl Hobeck of Chester, Ill.; and fiance, Estal Douglas of Sparta.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Turnbough; two sisters, Lois Edwards and JoAnn Bell; two brothers, John and Jake Hobeck.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stan Hargis officiating. Interment will be in New Salem Methodist Church Cemetery near Daisy.
