CHAFFEE -- Anna Olivia Goetz, 93, of Chaffee died Thursday, Oct. 31, 1991, at the Miner Nursing Center, where she had been a resident for five years.
She was born Dec. 17, 1897, in New Hamburg, the daughter of Henry and Anna Scherer Grojean. On Aug. 19, 1919, she married Theodore A. Goetz Sr., who preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1974.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and the Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Survivors include a son, Theodore A. Goetz Jr. of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Marcella Seyer of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; a grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m.
Funeral mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in New Hamburg.
