Anna Miller

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Anna Lorene Miller, 57, of Advance passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.

Anna was born Aug. 26, 1959, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed singing, baking, sewing and reading. She was a member of Zalma (Missouri) General Baptist Church.

On Sept. 1, 1978, she married Noel Miller Jr. at Pilgrims Rest Church in Fairdealing, Missouri. He survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Karina (Jason) Stone, and a son, Dutch Miller, both of Advance; her parents, William "Bill" and Sue Franklin of Harviell, Missouri; two sisters, Anita Norman of Corning, Arkansas, and Amy Lane of Oran, Missouri; two brothers, Bill Franklin of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Andy Franklin of St. Charles, Missouri; grandchildren, Hunter Miller of Cape Girardeau and Kolby Stone of Advance; as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. A second visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri.

A graveside service will follow, with Brother Dan Overton officiating. Burial will take place at Naylor (Missouri) Memorial Cemetery.
