Anna M. O'Donnell Panhorst, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at the Missouri Veterans Home. She was born March 1, 1899, at Leopold, the daughter of Henry and Anna Steiner Tenholder. She and James O'Donnell were married Feb. 12, 1918. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1961. She married Edward Panhorst Dec. 21, 1975. He also preceded her in death July 10, 1987...

Anna M. O'Donnell Panhorst, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at the Missouri Veterans Home.

She was born March 1, 1899, at Leopold, the daughter of Henry and Anna Steiner Tenholder. She and James O'Donnell were married Feb. 12, 1918. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1961. She married Edward Panhorst Dec. 21, 1975. He also preceded her in death July 10, 1987.

Panhorst was a member of the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Washington and was also a member of the St. Francis Borgia Charity Club.

Survivors include a son, James O'Donnell of Arnold; a daughter Eleanor Clements of Gonzales, La.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where parish prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold. The Rev. Bill Huggins will officiate, and burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery Chapel in St. Louis.
