Anna Lamastus

THEBES, Ill. -- Anna May Miller Light Lamastus, 98, of Thebes passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo, Ill.

She was born April 19, 1913, at Benton, Ill., daughter of James "Jim" and Lena Miller.

Anna May was a member of Alexander Freewill Baptist Church in rural Thebes.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loy Light; a brother; and three sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Faye Light of Thebes; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Earnest Brown officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
