ADVANCE -- Anna Lou Weissenborn, 86, of Advance, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 18, 1906, at Dongola, daughter of Walter and Amanda Shell Murphy. She and Flavius Weissenborn were married Jan. 30, 1929, at Jackson.

Weissenborn was a member of First Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star 412, and an extension club here.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jim Weissenborn of Advance; a daughter, Marjean Hitt of Advance; a brother, Walter Murphy of Chesterfield; five grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Clinton Woodfin will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 4:30-9 p.m. today.
