ANNA HOFFMAN

PERRYVILLE -- Anna M. Hoffman, 90, of Perryville died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997, at Perry Oaks Healthcare.

She was born Aug. 30, 1907, in Perry County, daughter of Louis and Ida Tucker Guyot. She and Herman A. Hoffman were married Sept. 17, 1924. He died Oct. 8, 1990.

Hoffman had been a baker at St. Mary's of the Barrens. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sons, Harold Hoffman of St. Louis, Stanley Hoffman of Linn, Gilmore Hoffman of Green Bay Wis.; a daughter, Alveena Nolan of Perryville; two brothers, George Guyot of Tucson, Ariz., Leroy Guyot of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Ida Adams and Dorothy Bohnert of Perryville; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:40 a.m. A wake service will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
