Anna Glastetter

BENTON, Mo. -- Anna Mary Glastetter, 89, of Benton died Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at her home.

She was born Sept. 30, 1932, in New Hamburg, Missouri, to Joseph Anton and Laura Elizabeth Linhart Bucher. She married Louis Paul Glastetter on March 28, 1951. He preceded her in death Sept. 14, 2007.

Anna was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality.

She is survived by a son, Robert (Jean) Glastetter of Benton; four daughters, Anna (Greg) Presley of Sikeston, Missouri, and Lori (Gerald) Seyer, Nancy (John) Buell and Jane (DeWayne) Lix of Benton; two sons-in-law, Dennis Miller of Scott City and Glenn Hulshof of Benton; daughter-in-law, Martha Glastetter of Jackson; brother, Joseph (Donna) Bucher of New Hamburg; two sisters, Agnes Scheeter and Clare Heisserer of New Hamburg; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Anna was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Glastetter; two daughters, Helen Miller and Bonnie Hulshof; and a grandson, Louis Hulshof.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Bala Swamy Govindu as celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
