ANNA DEAL

JACKSON - Anna Deal, 84, of Jackson, died Friday, March 26, 1993, at the Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born Nov. 3, 1908, to John P. and Smatha Sides McDonald.

In 1924, she married Sylvester Thompson. He died in 1941. In 1942, she married Nelson Deal, who preceded her in death in 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Thompson and Jim Thompson, both of Jackson, one daughter, Judy Litzelfelner of Jackson, one sister, Myrtle Lee of Ironton. Twelve grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren also survive.

Four brothers, two sisters, and one grandchild preceded her in death.

In 1950, she and her husband, Nelson, moved from St. Louis to Jackson, where they established the Deal Nursing Home. She retired from the business in 1958.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., today, at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11 a.m., in the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in the Cape Girardeau Memorial Park Cemetery.
