CHARLESTON -- Anna D. Robeson, 82, of Charleston died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 16, 1914, at Charleston, daughter of Thomas Wellington and Agnes Kettel Carr.

She lived most of her life in Charleston, where she was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.

She and James I. "Bob" Robeson were married July 3, 1944. He died Dec. 1, 1975.

Survivors include a stepson, John Robeson of Sikeston; a stepdaughter, Betty Wooten of St. Louis; three brothers, Richard Carr of Charleston, Cletus Carr of Marshfield, Mass., and Vernon Carr of Florrisant; two sisters, Frances Johnson of Hazelwood and Lucille French of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery near Charleston.
