CHARLESTON -- Ann Marie Samons, 69, of Fair Dealing, Mo., formerly of Mississippi County, died Tuesday, June 8, 1993, at the Doctor's Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Jan. 4, 1924, at Lake County, Tenn., daughter of James Edward and Hallie Mae Vincent Helms.
She was married to Charles Bural Samons in August 1938.
Samons lived at Fair Dealing for the past two years, after moving from Mississippi County, where she had lived most of her life.
She was a member of the Bridge United Methodist Church near Charleston.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Charles Bural Samons Jr. of Charleston; four daughters, Dorothy Maxine Bozeman of Fair Dealing, Mo., Bessie Marie Smith of Charleston, Doris Davis of Kennett, Donna Shands of East Prairie; two brothers, Junior Helms of Charleston, Eddie Helms of Linesville, Penn.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
