MORLEY -- Funeral for Anita Freed of Morley will be held at 2 p.m. today at Morley Baptist Church. The Revs. Dennis Cebulak and Delbert Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in Morley Cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran is in charge of arrangements.
Freed, 59, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 9, 1939, at Oran, daughter of James Raymond and Florence Barker Emerson. She and James Charles Freed were married April 25, 1959.
Freed moved to Morley 37 years ago from Sikeston. She was a member of Morley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mark and David Freed of Morley; a daughter, Sheilah Deere of Portageville; stepmother, Frances Emerson of Benton; two brothers, Kenneth Emerson of Advance, Ray Emerson of Morley; three sisters, Juanita Isaccs and Becky Rodgers of Morley, Debbie McKim of Poplar Bluff; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
