CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Anita Mae DeLine, 82, of Charleston died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 25, 1918, at Diehlstadt, daughter of Elmer Smith and Bunice Mae Plunkett Babb. She and Donald DeLine were married May 25, 1941, at Caruthersville.
DeLine was an election judge in Mississippi County many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Women's Missionary Society, and had been a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. She was a member of Texas Bend Extension Club.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bill DeLine of Blytheville, Ark., Smith DeLine of Charleston; a brother, Elmer Babb of Charleston; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
