Angela Godwin

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Angela Kay Godwin, 63, of Marble Hill passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at SoutheastHEALTH in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 10, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John Charles and Virginia Ailene Patton Sitzes. She and James Godwin were united in marriage Sept. 15, 1990.

Angela worked for Wal-Mart as a cashier.

She is survived by her husband, James of Marble Hill; son, Michael McCoy of Bonne Terre, Missouri; daughters, Tammy Luttrull of Scopus, Missouri, Sherry Junck of Elk Point, South Dakota, Jamie Godwin of California and Jackie Ramos of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; brother, Kenneth Sitzes of Perryville, Missouri; uncle, Jack Patton of Perryville; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Kevin Stroup officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
