Angela M. Brice, 93, of Jackson died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 20, 1910, in St. Louis, daughter of John and Josephine Lamantia Sciortino. She and Ira F. Brice were married June 16, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. He died April 10, 1993.
Brice was a 1929 graduate of the former St. Mary's High School in Cape Girardeau. She and her husband owned and operated the former Brice's Variety Store in Jackson from 1947 to 1963. She also gave private piano lessons many years.
She was a member and former organist at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and member of St. Ann's Sodality and American Legion Auxiliary, all in Jackson.
Survivors include two sons, Tom and Joe Brice of Jackson; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson after 9 a.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the funeral home, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
