JACKSON -- Amy Bond Holland, 79, of Jackson died Friday, Aug. 25, Friday, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 7, 1916, in Rum Branch, to Dana D. and Rose Hendrickson McNeely.
She married Floyd Bond on Aug. 12, 1933, at Benton. He died June 4, 1962. She married Sylvester Holland on March 16, 1963, in Perryville. He died Dec. 13, 1977.
She worked for many years as a cook at St. Vincent's College in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, William L. Bond of New Wells and Thomas R. Bond of Jefferson City; five daughters, Ada Werner of Cape Girardeau, Mary Winchester of Poplar Bluff, Shirley Russell of West Memphis, Ark., Linda Townsan of Jacksonville, Fla., and Brenda Doza of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
