ADVANCE -- Amos Sidney Driskill, 89, of Advance, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 26, 1902, son of John and May Biggard Driskill. He married Emma Hurley, who died Dec. 29, 1974.

Driskill was a retired farmer, and member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Robert Driskill of Perkins; three daughters, Mary Russell and Delsie Burton of Zalma, Dorothy Meeks of Oaktown, Ind.; two sisters, Blanche Carlton and Lela Long of St. Louis; five grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield. Billy Davis will officiate, with burial in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
