BELL CITY -- Amos Hart, 77, of Bell City, died Thursday, May 5, 1994, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 27, 1917, in Harold, Ill., son of Martin Allen and Hannah Melton Hart. He and Ora Mae Perrigan were married Dec. 24, 1935, at Dexter.
Hart was a retired farmer. He also had been a deliveryman for Dunn Uregas at Bell City, and maintenance worker at Inland Shoe Co. in Advance.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Harold Hart of Bell City, Richard Hart of Dexter, Mitchell Hart of Cape Girardeau, Butch Hart of Swinton; a brother, Ezra Hart of Silver Lake, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a son, six brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Doyle Stogsdill officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
