PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Amelia M. Brown of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Post Oak Methodist Church. The Rev. Julius Mills will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6:30-8 a.m.
Brown, 82, died Saturday, May 25, 1996, in Roxana, Ill.
She was born May 20, 1914, in Millersville, daughter of Ferdinand and Annabelle Barks Ruessler.
Brown was retired from International Shoe Co. During World War II she was a welder at Oakland Shipyard in Oakland, Calif.
Survivors include two sons, Gary and Ronald Brown of Perryville; a daughter, Joyce Rollet of Roxana; five sisters, Ruby Wilfong of Patton, Estella Grindstaff, Loretta Clifton, Viola Winker and Edna Ponder, all of Perryville; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
