CHARLESTON -- Amarilla Glenn, 85, of Charleston, died Monday, May 18, 1992, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born Dec. 27, 1906, in Mississippi County, daughter of Steve and May Harris Hargan. She married Robert Glenn Sr. March 31, 1928. He died Sept. 26, 1965.
Glenn was a seamstress at Buckner Ragsdale Co. in Charleston a number of years. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church near Charleston, and American Legion Auxiliary here.
Survivors include a son, Tom Glenn, Charleston Route 3; a daughter, Patricia Bruenderman of DeSoto; a brother, Osa Hargan of Marissa, Ill.; a sister, Pat Powers of Sikeston; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McMikle Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Ted Wimberley and Jim Barnhart will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
