ALVINA LOBERG

PERRYVILLE -- Alvina Loberg, 93, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 6, 1998, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 29, 1905, at Yount, daughter of F. Ernst and Johanna Brickhaus Yamnitz. She and Dr. Sherman Loberg were married June 30, 1930. He died May 3, 1991.

Loberg was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star, and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Pierce of Belleville, Ill.; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a son, five brothers, three sisters, a half brother, and three half sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today, and Thursday after 6:30 a.m. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Bass officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
