CYPRESS, Ill. -- Graveside service for Alvin C. Stevens of Mesa, Ariz., will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Dave Marinello will officiate.
There is no visitation.
Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements.
Stevens, 84, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, in Mesa.
He was born Dec. 17, 1914, in Fountain County, Ind., son of Clyde and Golda Wakeland Stevens. He married Eleanor Fisher, who preceded him in death.
Stevens retired as an industrial engineer with Halls Printing Co. in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Mark Stevens of Superior, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
