ADVANCE, Mo. -- Alvin Roy Duniphan, 84, of Zalma died Friday, June 9, 2000, at Doctors' Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

Duniphan was a retired farmer. He was a member of Bright Prospect Church.

He and Thelma Coats were married on Jan. 25, 1936, at Arab, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; four sisters, Melba Matthews of Texas, Alma Meador of Advance, Hazel Cooly of Arizona and Rosalee Williams of McGee.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with Bro. Larry Underwood officiating. Interment will be in Brush Creek Cemetery near Arab.
