CHARLESTON -- Alvin Ray Spence, 20, of Charleston, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1994.
He was born Jan. 14, 1974, in Charleston, son of Alvin Pierce and Dorothy Spence.
Spence was a 1993 graduate of Charleston High School, and attended Lane College in Jackson, Tenn.
Survivors include a daughter, Destiny Spence of Charleston; his mother of Charleston; a sister, Dawn Tipler of East Prairie; three brothers, Timothy and Corey Spence and Ervin Boyd of Charleston; maternal grandmother, Darcus Spence; paternal grandmother, Rovine Pierce, and maternal great-grandmother, Louise Betts, all of Charleston.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Opportunity Church of God in Christ, with Pastor Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
