SIKESTON -- Alvin Myers Jr., 66, Sikeston Route 1, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, at his home.
He was born June 2, 1930, at Blodgett, son of Alvin and Lillie Roundtree Myers Sr. He and Ann Learue were married May 23, 1957, in Tupelo, Miss.
Myers owned Sikeston Termite Pest Control. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lisa Gregory of Sikeston; a brother, Fred Myers of Morehouse; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with burial in Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett.
