DEXTER -- Alvin M. Lambert, 48, of Dexter died Thursday, July 31, 1997, at Crowley Ridge Care Center.
He was born Feb. 18, 1949, in Hot Springs, Ark.
Formerly of Sikeston, and Phoenix, Ariz., he had lived in Dexter the past nine years. He was a salesman at Allen Christian Buick in Dexter until becoming ill.
Lambert served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Eagles Lodge at Sikeston.
Survivors include his mother, Lila Campbell of Dexter; three brothers, Andrew Wheeler of Waverly, Va., and Allen Wheeler and Stan Winchester of Dexter.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor Mike Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery near Morley.
