ADVANCE, Mo. — Alvin Mureal Francis, 73, of Lake Worth, Fla., formerly of Advance, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Wentzville, Mo.
He was born May 22, 1935, at Painton, son of Ollie Earl and Duie Ivy Huff Francis. He and Mary Jane Seabaugh were married Sept. 25, 1954.
Alvin had been a farmer and a secondary educator.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cynthia Jane Francis Bice and husband Douglas Alan Bice Jr. of Wentzville; a son, Alvin Kirk Francis and wife Maria Elena Mejia Francis of Lake Worth; four granddaughters, Savannah Jane and Sierra Jade Bice, Michaela Nicole and Alexa Catalina Francis, and a grandson, Christian David Francis.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Keith will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Dale Huff. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park with full military rites.
