CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Alvin William Enderle of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Wayne Schwiesow will officiate, with burial in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
Enderle, 94, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Jan. 7, 1903, at Tillman, son of Charles Bernard and Hermenia Feurhahn Enderle. He and Amanda Marie Stubenrauch were married Sept. 6, 1926. She died Dec. 5, 1996.
Enderle was a retired bridge worker with Frisco Railroad Co. in Chaffee. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Bertha Hamm, Oran Route 1; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandsons; and a great-great-stepgranddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and two sisters.
