PERRYVILLE -- Funeral mass for Alois A. "Ollie" Koeller of Perryville was held Monday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Henry Grodecki officiated, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Koeller, 82, died Saturday, May 1, 1993, at his home.
He was born Feb. 20, 1911, at Glennonville, son of Fred and Theresa Ressman Koeller. He and Mildred G. Schumer were married May 22, 1934.
Koeller was a retired farmer, member of St. Vincent's Church, and third degree knight with St. Jerome KC Council at Glennonville.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, James Koeller of Bonne Terre, David Koeller of Herculaneum, Ronald and Andrew Koeller of West Memphis, Ark., Stanley Koeller of Jackson; five daughters, Phyllis Friedman of Belleville, Ill., Coletta Knoppe of St. Ann, Mary Barton of Affton, Clara Ruiz of Memphis, Tenn., Jane Boyet of Bridgeton; two foster sons, Bobby and Kenny Franks of Indiana; a brother, Edward Koeller of Alton, Ill.; two sisters, Hilda Harris of Valparaiso, Ind., Margaret Alexander of Poplar Bluff; 41 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and sister.
