JACKSON -- Alma Piercey, 92, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton, Ill.
She was born Jan. 25, 1902, at Sedgewickville, daughter of Jacob and Minnie Drum Crites. She first married Lloyd Snyder, who preceded her in death. She later married Lorne Piercey May 13, 1970.
Piercey and her first husband operated a grocery store in Oak Ridge. She was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two stepdaughters, Gloria Biznek of Staunton, Lorene Carvin of Warren, Ohio; seven stepgrandchildren, and nine great-stepgrandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Staunton, with the Rev. Avis Richardson officiating. Burial will be in a Jackson cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. to service time.
Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton is in charge of arrangements.
