Alma Pierce

Graveside service for Alma Jean Pierce of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. today at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City. Paul Bell will officiate.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from noon to 1:30 p.m. today.

Pierce, 87, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 16, 1915, at Illmo, Mo., daughter of Burle and Stella Bundy Pierce.

Survivors include two nieces, LaVonne Wall of Pine Bluff, Ark., and LaDonna Williams of Mesquite, Texas.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
