NEW HAMBURG -- Alma Philomena Hamm, 82, of New Hamburg, died Monday, April 10, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 11, 1912, at Kelso, daughter of Solomon and Sophia Blattel Heisserer. She and John I. Hamm were married Sept. 22, 1931, at Kelso.

Hamm was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include a son, Larry Hamm of New Hamburg; a daughter, Judy Peroutka of St. Louis; a brother, Paul Heisserer of Kelso; five sisters, Olivia Ostendorf, Marie Ostendorf and Edna Job of Cape Girardeau, Corena Morrison of Perryville, Melva Kaulkbrenner of Beaumont, Texas.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and three stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, brother, three sisters and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7 and KC prayer service at 7:30.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Lawrence Church, with the Rev. Amil Shibley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
