EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. -- Alma M. Neff, 79, of Arnold, formerly of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born April 19, 1918, in McClure, Ill., daughter of John and Zona Moore Matlock. On March 11, 1947, she married Jefferson Eugene Neff at Cairo, Ill. He died death Dec. 4, 1970.
She had worked at Homestead Hardware Store in East Cape Girardeau. She was a member of the East Cape Southern Baptist Church and attended Murphy First Baptist Church in Murphy, Mo.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Lee Smith of Vacaville, Calif., and Larry Eugene Neff of Decatur, Ill.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.
