TAMMS, Ill. -- Alma Miller Seip Jonas, 92, formerly of Alexander County, died Friday, March 3, 1995, at Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro. She was born April 22, 1902, at Matthews, Ill., daughter of Lewis P. and Sarah Queen Webb. She married Eugene D. Miller Sept. 17, 1919. He preceded her in death in 1965. She married Raymond Seip, who preceded her in death. She then married William Jonas, who preceded her in death...

TAMMS, Ill. -- Alma Miller Seip Jonas, 92, formerly of Alexander County, died Friday, March 3, 1995, at Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro.

She was born April 22, 1902, at Matthews, Ill., daughter of Lewis P. and Sarah Queen Webb.

She married Eugene D. Miller Sept. 17, 1919. He preceded her in death in 1965. She married Raymond Seip, who preceded her in death. She then married William Jonas, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch, Ill.

She is survived by four sons, Cletes Miller of Carbondale, Robert Clifford Miller of Thebes, Clifton D. Miller and Charles D. Miller, both of Olive Branch; 18 grandchildren; and number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two infant daughters.

Service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch, with the Revs. Bill Don Heady and Carl Hester officiating. Interment will be in Twente Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 5 to 9 p.m. and Monday morning until 12:30 p.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
