JACKSON -- Alma Mary Kinder, 82, of Jackson died Monday at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 14, 1914, at Oran, daughter of Frank and Anna Halter LeGrand. She and Andrew Darling Kinder were married Oct. 3, 1945. He died Jan. 31, 1994.
Kinder worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill. She and her husband operated Kinder's Ole Time Meat Market a number of years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Kinder of Jackson, Dr. Jerry Kinder of Fredericktown; two sisters, Frieda Buergler and Alvera Campbell of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
