Alma "Billie" Hubbard, 85, 3120 Independence, died Thursday, July 9, 1992, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born June 14, 1907, at Oran, daughter of William H. and Anna Wagner Besel. She married William "Red" Hubbard July 23, 1942, in St. Petersburg, Fla. He died Feb. 14, 1973.
Hubbard taught school two years at Diehlstadt, was a manager and buyer for Libson Shops, and owned and operated Milady's Specialty Shop about five years.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Millie Rhyne of Cape Girardeau and Betty Wright of Florissant.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. The Rev. Bruce Edwards will officiate.
