Alma Geringer

Alma B. Geringer, 78, of Biehle, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 13, 1923, in Perry County, Mo., to Frank and Bertha Schott Wingerter. She was married to Nelbert H. Geringer on May 17, 1945. He survives of the home.

Geringer was a member of the St. Maurus Catholic Church and St. Ann Sodality in Biehl.

Other survivors include one daughter, JoAnn Lukefahr of Perryville, Mo., and two sons, Neil Geringer of Perryville and Kevin Geringer of St. Louis; one sister, Mildred Schott of Jackson; three brothers, Lloyd Wingerter of Perryville, Milton Wingerter of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Merlin Wingerter of Perryville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Visitation will be at Young and Sons Chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with a Catholic Mass at 6 p.m., and from 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. Friday.

A funeral mass is set for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. Interment will be in the church cemetery, with the Rev. Mark Bozada officiating.
