MILL CREEK, Ill. -- Alma Louise Favors, 81, died Wednesday, July 15, 1998, at City Care Center in Anna.
She was born Aug. 5, 1916, at Mill Creek, daughter of Wilford A. and Alma Dillow Rendleman. She and Luther Ray Favors were married May 12, 1946, in Kankakee.
Favors was a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School, attended Southern Illinois University, and attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
She worked in state hospitals in Anna, Kankakee and Elgin. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two stepchildren, Jean Adams and Ray Favors of Bonfield; and a brother, Aurel Rendleman of Brownwood, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a stepson, and two brothers.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor David Eidson officiating. Burial will be in Herrin Cemetery.
