Alma E. Franck, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, June 23, 1995, at The Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1903, in Scott County, daughter of August and Mary Held Schaefer.
She married Ervin F. Franck on Jan. 29, 1922, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 1986.
She was a member of the Hanover Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid, the Ladies Quilters and Aid Association for Lutherans. She attended Trinity Lutheran School in Cape Girardeau.
She is survived by two sons, Ervin Frank Jr. of Cape Girardeau and William Franck of San Antonio; seven daughters, Dorothy Haupt of Jackson, Shirley Josey of Scott City, Ruby Moore of San Antonio, Geraldine Mehrle of St. Louis, and Betty Schweer, Ella Sinn and Ruth Farrow of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Herman and Leon Schaefer of Cape Girardeau; 24 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, two sisters, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hanover Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Sippy officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
