ORAN -- Alma C. Heisserer, 92, of Oran died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1992, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born in New Hamburg Jan. 4, 1900, the daugher of Michael and Mary Bucher Dirnberger. On Oct. 27, 1924, she married Raymond George Heisserer of Oran. He preceded her in death Sept. 20, 1966.
She was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, the St. Ann Sodality of Oran and, for the past two years, the Sacred Hearth Parish Community of Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include a son, Ralph S. Heisserer of Oran; four daughters, Margarita Heisserer of Kirksville, Joan Busche of Poplar Bluff, Helen Walker of Middleberg, Va. and Margaret O'Neill of Maplewood, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
