KENNETT -- Funeral for Allive E. "Alice" McDonald of Kennett was held Friday at McDaniel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Slatton officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
McDonald, 87, died Tuesday, July 21, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 27, 1911, in Corinth, Miss., daughter of Orb and Rebecca Childs Rodgers. She first married Wayne McCrary May 2, 1929. He died Sept. 17, 1976. She later married John McDonald in 1978. He died in 1983.
McDonald was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Joel McCrary of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Joyce Rickman of Kennett; two sisters, Una Hall of Senath, Janie Robinson of Booneville, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
